Rebecca completed a bachelor's degree in Zoology at Massey University, New Zealand, before heading to Japan for one year to teach English, and then South Africa on a Great White Shark internship.

She is now fulfilling her lifelong dream of working in whale conservation by assisting Nan with her research in the Cook islands.
