In June 2003, Scott and Clare quit their corporate jobs in London and packed up all their belongings to travel the world. After a visit to Aitutaki - one of the Southern Group of the Cook Islands - where they had their first major experience with the whales, they visitied the Whale Centre on Rarotonga where they met Nan Hauser. They then volunteered their time and expertise to assist in updating this website during the remainder of their visit to the Cook Islands.
